Hello everyone! My name is Ravina and I am a Senior II in our nursing program. Although I've only been a part of this fascinating organization for a little over a year, one of the greatest benefits I've received is forming connections with others who are passionate about the nursing profession and experiencing similar challenges as myself in terms of nursing school. Through SNA's meetings, events, fundraisers, and cooperation with other organizations, this club allows one to feel a sense of closeness. Students can practice skills such as blood pressures and vaccinations at our Health Fair events. Students can rely on one another, those from other cohorts, professors, and even visiting graduate students or nurses to voice our concerns and receive feedback on study techniques and stress relief. This club is very considerate of our hectic schedule, but also provides an incentive to engage, learn, and grow not only as a student, but as a nursing student. The connections formed in SNA are lifelong and the overall feeling of belonging is just what is needed to guide us through nursing school.
